Reefer Madness is a musical satire of the 1936 cult classic anti-marijuana propaganda film of the same name. A melodramatic musical warning of the horrific consequences of succumbing to the ‘demon weed’, Reefer Madness tells the story of young Jimmy Harper, and his descent into a life of debauchery, and ultimately murder, under the influence of marijuana. Music by Dan Studney and lyrics by Kevin Murphy.
