Twisted The Cabaret

Something’s coming… your favourite male Broadway hits as you least expect them!

Come prepared to hear the famous male Broadway numbers you know and love, then sit back and relax as three damsels in distress take matters into their own hands and male songs into their own key.
In life we are labelled… in musical theatre we are type-cast. Twisted turns that on its head.

Written, directed, and performed by Musical Theatre powerhouses Nicole Herreen, Paige Byrne, and Emma Kavanagh, this topsy-turvy new cabaret takes audiences down the memory lane of popular musical theatre classics, but leaves them wondering if Google Maps has directed them far from the street where they live.

These captivating vocalists bring their refined musicianship skills, intricate story-telling abilities, and performance experience from all around Australia to The Butterfly Club stage. They dream the impossible dream, singing some of Broadway’s best male songs to twist how we as a society are encouraged to see the world.

A delightful and thought-provoking show not to be missed. Expect tight harmonies, a tight band, and tight choreography… as the stage is only 4.5 metres wide!

Cost: $26-$35 (full, concession, group (6+), member, early bird)
